New paintings

Some paintings I did of a client's kids...I basically learned how hard babies are to paint.

Some Illustrator work

These were done for two different classes a little while ago. The first is supposed to be like those paper doll accessory sets, and I used that idea as a self portrait for an illustration class.
The second image was for an entertainment class where we were supposed to write a story concept and illustrate all the key elements, such as the environments, character designs, and storyboards. The image would be a promotional poster for the story. Both were hand drawn and then cleaned up in illustrator.

Twiggy shirt

I did this Illustrator work based on Twiggy
to use as a t-shirt stencil a few months back. I think she has a really iconic face and I tried to keep what I thought made her more unique.

And here's a sketch I did based on a magazine. I want to paint this traditionally, maybe acrylic? I'll definitely post it again.

These are some studies I did for a costume illustration class. We had a compilation of different period costumes, and I liked these, which are 1700s high society dresses, much like what would be worn by Marie Antoinette. It would be fun to make a book of these.

Just a little character sketch (sort of) based on Bridget Bardot. I found this relatively bizarre picture of her in industrial clothing. Inspiring, I suppose!

I'll try and space my posts out a bit more. This was done in illustrator based on a sketch of a girl I scanned in. Usually I don't like that program so much but I had fun with this.

Edit : typo, "sketch"
